ok, i KNOW im NOT weird! i saw something somewhere that looked like stained glass, but it wasn't painted.. i want to stain clear glass champagne bottles for my wedding in orange and hot pink. this type of liquid is oily but sticks to glass once dry. you would pour it into the bottle and turn the bottle on its side in a circular motion to cover the glass. once dry, you can add another color or leave as is. does anyone know what im talking about??!? stained glass liquid doesnt help, it leaves brush strokes and its hard to do it in a champagne bottle, since i had a lot of trouble doing it in a pickle jar..

Want something different for your home? Something truly unique? Maybe a stunning art masterpiece that everyone is irresistibly drawn to admire as soon as they walk through your door. You probably think, “Mosaic tables are nothing new or unique, so what’s this guy talking about?” You’re right! Years ago I made “suncatchers” with kids. The kids colored in a pattern that was on regular white paper (I think they were supposed to use colored pencils, but it could have been crayons or markers). Once they colored the pattern in, they placed some baby oil on a cotton ball and rubbed the oil on the back side of the pattern. This created a glassy type effect. After the oil dried, a hole was punched at the top and a string was looped through in order to hang the “sun catcher”.
Has anyone heard of this project? I would just like to know if I have remembered the details of the project properly.
